Job summary

Crash Champions is seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician to inspect damaged vehicles, plan repairs, and supervise apprentice work. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and timely completion at one of our busy U.S. locations.

You'll work with a team, apply frame machinery skills, and leverage I-CAR welding certification as part of a broad collision repair process. Compensation is commission-based with base pay aligned to local minimums.

Qualifications

• Experience using a frame machine and robust body repair knowledge.
• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Understanding repair processes by vehicle manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certification is preferred.
• Ability to analyze measuring data and dimensions.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Must be able to pass a thorough background check.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Communicates repair status with team.
• Performs quality repairs while meeting timelines.
• Decides on repair vs replacement considering safety and cost.
• Disassembles components to access areas.
• Attends safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, sands repaired surfaces with tools.
• Directs an apprentice when needed.
