Job summary

Crash Champions is seeking a skilled auto body technician to examine damaged vehicles, plan repairs, and work with the team to complete quality repairs on time. You will guide apprentices and ensure adherence to safety standards.

The role offers a commission/flag pay structure; posted pay range is USD 65,000 to USD 147,960 per year, with comprehensive benefits and eligibility subject to requirements.

Qualifications

• Frame machine use is required.
• I-CAR welding certification is required.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Background check clearance required.
• Certification in body repair preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Communicates repair status with team.
• Performs quality repairs and maintains on-time status.
• Decides on repair vs. replacement considering safety, cost and cycle time.
• Removes upholstery and related components to access repairs.
• Participates in all required safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces using tools.
• Directs an apprentice when needed and explains procedures.
