Job summary

Crash Champions is seeking a Body Technician to join our team at the Florida facility. The role involves examining vehicles, planning repairs, and performing quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.

You will work with others, supervise an apprentice when needed, and ensure safety and accuracy throughout the repair process. Compensation ranges from USD 65,000 to USD 158,940 per year, with a commission/flag rate structure.

Qualifications

• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer.
• Must pass thorough background check.
• I-CAR welding certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Examine damaged vehicle and plan repair process.
• Communicate with team on repair status.
• Perform quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.
• Decide on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Remove upholstery and related components to access areas.
• Participate in safety meetings.
• Finish repairs using power tools and hand tools.
• Supervise apprentice when needed and explain procedures.
