Job summary

The Boyd Group Services is seeking an Auto Body Technician in Ennis, TX. You’ll assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition, disassemble/reassemble parts, and contribute to speed, quality and customer excellence.

You’ll work with a team to meet KPI targets and act as a Brand Ambassador for the company. Responsibilities include planning repairs, using shop tools, correcting dents, realigning frames, replacing parts, and ensuring work orders meet time and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Familiarity with auto body repair processes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure WOW plan is executed consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer estimates using various tools.
• Hammer out dents and repair structural damage; apply filler resins when needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts and repair glass.
• Repair interior parts as needed and repaint vehicles with factory specs.
• Complete work orders within labor guidelines and inspect for quality.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
