Job summary

The Boyd Group in Forney, TX seeks an Auto Body Technician to perform meticulous vehicle repairs and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, aligning with the team to meet KPIs and uphold the brand promise of speed, quality and customer excellence.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, using tools like cutting guns, plasma cutters and jacks, performing dent repair, replacing parts and repainting to factory specs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Weld, grind, realign chassis and replace parts as needed.
• Ensure repairs meet quality and safety standards.
• Inspect completed work and maintain documentation.
