Job summary

The Boyd Group in Ennis, TX is seeking an Auto Body Technician to provide meticulous vehicle repair and a superior customer experience. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition, aiming for speed, quality and customer excellence.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and training via technical school or a 3-year apprenticeship, with the ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Use tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers to repair sections.
• Hammer dents and apply filler resins as needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace or repair parts and repaint vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure all work meets quality standards.
