Job summary

Sedgwick Claims Management Services is seeking a Claims Examiner for Auto Bodily Injury to analyze and process complex auto and commercial transportation claims. You will review coverage, investigate liability, and evaluate damages to determine liability and payout, while meeting service expectations.

Ideal candidates bring five years of claims management experience, strong communication skills, and knowledge of auto policies.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of claims management experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Strong knowledge of personal and commercial auto policies, coverage, principles, and laws.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Process complex auto, commercial, and personal line claims, ensuring proper documentation and coding.
• Handle litigation processes on litigated claims.
• Coordinate vendor management including independent adjusters.
• Report large claims to excess carriers.
• Develop action plans to meet state contact deadlines and resolve files promptly.
• Identify subrogation and risk transfer opportunities and dispose of salvage.
• Communicate claim actions with insured, client, and broker as appropriate.
• Support the organization's quality programs.
