Job summary

Sedgwick, a global risk and claims solutions provider, is hiring an Insurance Claims Examiner, Auto | Bodily Injury. You will analyze and process complex bodily injury auto and commercial transportation claims, review coverage, conduct investigations, determine liability, and evaluate damages.

The ideal candidate has solid communication skills, strong PC proficiency, and state adjuster licensing as required. Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Five years of claims management experience required or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of auto liability policies and coverage principles.
• Licensing as applicable; adjuster license preferred where required.

Responsibilities

• Processes complex auto, commercial and personal line claims, including bodily injury, with proper documentation.
• Responsible for litigation process on litigated claims.
• Coordinates vendor management and independent adjusters for investigations.
• Reports large claims to excess carriers.
• Develops action plans to meet state contact deadlines and resolve files promptly.
• Identifies subrogation and risk transfer opportunities; secures salvage.
• Communicates claim actions with insured, client, and broker where appropriate.
• Supports the organization's quality programs.
