Qualifications

• Five (5) years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• In-depth knowledge of personal and commercial auto policies, coverage, principles, and laws.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; professional certification may be applicable to the line of business.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; PC literate; ability to work in a team environment; maintain licenses as required.

Responsibilities

• Process complex auto, commercial, and personal line bodily injury claims with proper documentation and coding.
• Oversee litigation processes on litigated claims.
• Coordinate vendor management, including independent adjusters for investigations.
• Report large claims to excess carriers as needed.
• Develop action plans to meet state deadlines and drive prompt resolution.
• Identify subrogation opportunities and manage salvage disposal.
• Communicate claim actions with insured, client, and broker as appropriate.
• Support the organization's quality programs and travel as required.
