Job summary

Sedgwick is hiring a Claims Examiner, Auto | Bodily Injury to analyze and process complex bodily injury auto and commercial transport claims. You will review coverage, investigate liability, determine damages, and pursue prompt resolution in line with client requirements.

The ideal candidate has extensive auto claims experience, strong communication skills, and licensing as required. Travel may be required, and Sedgwick emphasizes growth, balance, and stability.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• In-depth knowledge of personal and commercial auto lines, coverage and laws.
• State adjusting licenses as required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and process complex auto bodily injury claims and commercial transportation claims.
• Investigate coverage, determine liability and evaluate damages to resolve files timely.
• Coordinate with vendors and independent adjusters for investigations.
• Maintain proper documentation and coding of claim files; manage subrogation/risk transfer where applicable.
• Communicate with insured, clients and brokers; support quality programs and travel as needed.
