Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior fraud analytics lead to analyze, develop, and optimize enterprise authentication fraud strategies in a dynamic environment. You will analyze authentication performance, fraud outcomes, customer journeys, and control effectiveness, driving root-cause analyses and reporting to executive stakeholders.

You will partner with Fraud Strategy, Digital, Operations, Technology, Risk, and Product teams, collaborating with model governance, and evaluating third-party vendors

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Typically more than eight years of applicable experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of departmental data sources and fraud risk and operations management.
• Strong analytical skills evaluating fraud prevention infrastructure and forecasting fraud loss trends.
• Strong project management skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient computer navigation using Microsoft Office applications and data analysis software.
• Must be able to comply with U.S. Bank policies, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, and workplace conduct and safety policies.
• Position is not eligible for current or future visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, develop, and optimize enterprise authentication fraud strategies.
• Analyze authentication performance, fraud outcomes, customer journeys, and control effectiveness.
• Conduct root-cause analyses of authentication failures, account takeover events, fraud losses, customer friction, and emerging fraud threats.
• Develop and maintain analytical frameworks, performance metrics, and monitoring capabilities.
• Partner with Fraud Strategy, Digital, Operations, Technology, Risk, and Product teams on authentication initiatives.
• Collaborate with model development, ownership, governance, and validation teams.
• Evaluate third-party vendors, authentication solutions, fraud tools, and identity verification capabilities.
• Identify and prioritize opportunities to improve fraud detection, authentication accuracy, customer friction, and operational performance.
• Translate analytical findings into executive-ready recommendations.
• Monitor emerging fraud trends, authentication risks, industry developments, and customer behaviors.
• Ensure compliance with governance, privacy, model risk management, regulatory requirements, and data quality standards.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor.
