Humareso is seeking a Senior Auditor for a well-respected client in New Jersey. The ideal candidate is a licensed CPA (or actively pursuing CPA) with deep knowledge of the audit process and the ability to work independently.

You will lead audit engagements, supervise associates, perform risk assessments, and ensure GAAP/GAAS compliance while delivering meaningful insights to clients across various industries. This is a confidential search with details shared after initial interest.

Qualifications

• CPA license or actively pursuing CPA with sections passed.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements from planning through completion.
• Supervise and mentor associates, providing guidance and review of work.
• Perform risk assessments and tailor audit programs to client needs.
• Analyze and interpret financial statements and supporting docs.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, GAAS, and GAAS (Yellow Book).
• Communicate findings clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with resource manager to schedule engagements.
