Job summary

Current, an innovative accounting platform, seeks an experienced Audit Partner for its Somerset, NJ operation. You will lead complex attest engagements, mentor staff, and grow the client base across public accounting services.

The role requires a CPA and 10+ years in audit, with strong relationship-building and leadership abilities. Hybrid NJ arrangement and travel to NYC/Union offices are required to support clients.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license is required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive public accounting experience in audit.
• Proven ability to develop executive-level client relationships and pipelines.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; experience with firm planning preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for complex attest engagements (audits, reviews, compilations, AUPs).
• Mentor managers, seniors, and staff auditors; support career development.
• Grow personal book of business and expand service offerings.
• Ensure compliance with GAAS, SSARS, SSAE, PCAOB standards.
• Represent the firm at events and develop client relationships.
