Job summary

Eckceptional Search in Beachwood, Ohio, seeks a Senior Auditor to join our team in a hybrid work environment. This full-time role focuses on performing diverse audit and assurance work under experienced guidance to strengthen client systems and operations.

You will lead engagements, mentor staff, prepare workpapers and financial statements in compliance with GAAP or OCBOA, and actively contribute to planning, scheduling, and improving internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting.
• 3–4 years of progressive experience in public accounting.
• CPA certification or active candidacy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute diverse accounting and auditing assignments with minimal supervision.
• Guide and mentor staff accountants, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to professional standards.
• Prepare comprehensive workpapers and financial statements in compliance with GAAP or OCBOA.
• Actively participate in the planning and scheduling of client engagements, ensuring deadlines and compliance requirements are met.
• Provide insightful recommendations for improving client internal controls and operational procedures.
• Communicate effectively with clients to facilitate seamless and minimally disruptive engagements.
