You will lead engagements, mentor staff, prepare workpapers and financial statements in accordance with GAAP or OCBOA, and contribute to planning, scheduling and improving internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting.
• 3-4 years of progressive experience in public accounting.
• CPA certification or active candidacy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute diverse accounting and auditing assignments with minimal supervision.
• Guide and mentor staff accountants, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to professional standards.
• Prepare comprehensive workpapers and financial statements in compliance with GAAP or OCBOA.
• Plan and schedule client engagements, ensuring deadlines and compliance requirements are met.
• Provide recommendations for improving internal controls and operational procedures.
• Communicate effectively with clients to facilitate seamless engagements.
