Job summary

BerryDunn is seeking a high energy Audit Senior to join the Manufacturing, Technology, and Critical Infrastructure Practice Group. You will conduct audits, reviews, and other services, reporting to the Manager/Senior Manager, with potential remote base in New England offices.

You bring a BS/MS in Accounting, 4+ years in public accounting, CPA or pursuing CPA, strong analytical and communication skills, and a willingness to mentor staff while managing several engagements.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Accounting with 150 semester hours of education.
• 4+ years of progressive public accounting experience.
• CPA or plan to obtain CPA with firm support.

Responsibilities

• Perform client engagements from start to finish, including planning, executing, directing, and completing financial audits and managing to budget.
• Research and analyze financial statements and audit issues using audit software.
• Develop and communicate recommendations for business and process improvements.
• Supervise, train, and mentor associates and interns on audit process.
• Attend planning, closing, and audit committee meetings as a key team member.
• Stay current with relevant governmental regulations affecting clients.
