Job summary

BerryDunn is seeking an Audit Senior Manager to lead engagements for commercial clients, including manufacturing, technology, and infrastructure. You will coordinate staffing, manage client expectations, and guide audit, review and consulting services, reporting to Principals in the Practice Group.

The role calls for 8+ years in public accounting, a CPA license, and strong communication and leadership abilities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• CPA license.
• 8+ years of progressive public accounting experience, preferably with commercial clients.
• Excellent technical skills and understanding of professional rules and regulations.
• Highly evolved analytical and problem solving ability.
• Proven supervisory and training success.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and priorities in a fast-paced team environment.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage, direct and monitor multiple client engagements; schedule and coordinate workflow and staffing for projects and engagements.
• Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, and lead change efforts effectively.
• Research and analyze financial statements and related issues using electronic databases and audit software.
• Consult with clients to make recommendations on business and process improvements.
• Collaborate with Principals and Senior Managers on proposals and business development.
• Supervise, lead and mentor associates and interns on engagements and assess performance.
• Participate in personal and professional development sessions regularly.
