Job summary

Sikich is seeking a highly motivated auditing professional with strong leadership and accounting skills. This role requires an active Secret clearance or ability to obtain it and is a hybrid position based in Alexandria, VA, with some travel.

Responsibilities include conducting tests, preparing deliverables, reviewing team output, and guiding junior staff, while meeting contractual deadlines and using data tools and AI to enhance audit procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; accounting degree preferred.
• CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting, auditing, and/or related experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing to determine accuracy and completeness of amounts reported.
• Prepare workpapers, findings, and reports in accordance with auditing standards.
• Review work products prepared by team.
• Provide guidance to less experienced resources.
• Own assigned work areas and meet deadlines.
