Job summary

Sikich is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented experienced auditing professional with strong leadership and accounting skills. This role is contingent upon award of contract.

This position requires an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain this level of clearance. In this role you will supervise, review, design audit plans and procedures, oversee execution, and communicate with the client to ensure quality deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Provide first line supervision to a team of auditing professionals.
• Review work products prepared by team, ensuring quality and consistency with standards.
• Design audit plans and oversee execution using Government Auditing Standards.
• Evaluate results to determine impact on the audit plan and conclusions.
• Develop team through delegating tasks and guidance.
• Provide subject matter expertise in financial reporting and internal control.
• Act as primary liaison to the client, including leading meetings.
• Own assigned work areas and manage deadlines.
• Execute tasks per internal schedule to meet contractual deadlines.
• Advise Principals on significant developments.
• Leverage technology and AI to increase audit efficiency.
• Assist Principals and Senior Managers in project work.
