Job summary

Truist is seeking a seasoned Audit Services professional to contribute to strategic initiatives, track progress and report to the Board and regulators. You will help design and improve reporting processes, support a large Audit Services team with guidance on policies, and lead initiatives that mitigate risks through effective collaboration and tracking.

The role requires strong writing, MS Office skills, and ability to interact with senior leaders and external stakeholders as part of Truist's

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field.
• Six or more years of financial institution, auditing, or related experience in a reporting function.
• Knowledge of IIA Standards and SR 13-1.
• Ability to design and implement process enhancements for regulatory reporting.
• Ability to influence across levels and with external stakeholders.
• Strong business writing and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
• Understanding of risk management and process concepts.
• Project management and consulting skills; ability to balance priorities and meet deadlines.
• Analytical, critical thinking, organizational and negotiating skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in strategic initiative development, communication and reporting to the Board and regulators.
• Design, develop, implement and improve Audit Services processes and data reporting.
• Support 500+ teammates with audit operations, policies and procedures guidance.
• Contribute to special initiatives, solving issues and mitigating risks with reporting to stakeholders.
