U.S. Bank is seeking a Corporate Audit Services Audit Project Manager (APM) in Corporate Treasury to lead audit engagements and influence scope with support from the audit manager.

The role involves performing internal audit procedures and preparing reports, with potential involvement in additional projects and department initiatives. The position requires supervising audit staff, planning engagements, and coordinating across the three lines of defense to ensure risk coverage and delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Typically more than six years of applicable experience.
• Strong knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services and regulatory trends.
• Understanding of the business line’s operations, products/services, systems, and risks/controls.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and related tools.
• Applicable professional certifications.

Responsabilités

• Supervising audit staff in the completion of audit engagements.
• Assessing staff work with coaching notes related to scope and accuracy.
• Reviewing issues to ensure root causes are identified and appropriate recommendations developed.
• Planning audit engagements by identifying business processes, risks and controls.
• Assisting managers in reporting and wrap-up phases of audits.
• Monitoring progress to ensure timely completion and disposition of issues.
• Providing on-the-job training and sharing business knowledge of products, services and regulations.
• Collaborating across the three lines of defense to ensure coverage and efficient resource use.
