Job summary

Armanino LLP is seeking a Manager to oversee assurance engagements for multiple clients, focusing on delivering audited, reviewed, and compiled financial statements and related communications. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA license required.
• Minimum of 5 years in a public accounting firm.
• Assurance leadership, guidance or supervisory experience required.
• Advanced understanding of GAAP and GAAS.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Manage the engagement and workflow of all deliverables for multiple clients, including audited, reviewed and compiled financial statements and internal control letters.
• Identify and resolve accounting and audit technical issues impacting the engagement.
• Lead the engagement planning process including timing, resources, risk assessment, and engagement approach.
• Determine staffing needs and engagement schedules.
• Review engagement work papers to ensure standards are met.
• Delegate assignments to supervisors based on skills and workloads.
• Participate in peer review processes.
• Develop technical expertise through CPD and training.
• Prepare memorandums to support solutions on complex issues.
• Coordinate services across departments related to engagements.
• Keep partners informed about client updates, budgets, and technical issues.
• Develop area(s) of industry expertise.
• Assist in fee quotes and budgets.
• Prepare client billings and collect outstanding accounts.
• Use methodologies to improve engagement efficiency and profitability.
• Develop into a trusted advisor for clients throughout the year.
