Job summary

Armanino seeks an experienced assurance professional to manage multi-client engagements, including audits, reviews, and compilations, ensuring quality and on-time delivery. You will lead planning, staffing, and issue resolution, while mentoring staff and maintaining client relationships throughout the year.

Ideal candidates hold a CPA, with at least five years in public accounting, strong GAAP/GAAS knowledge, and proficiency in MS Office and Acrobat.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is required.
• CPA license is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a public accounting firm.
• Assurance leadership, guidance or supervisory experience is required.
• Advanced understanding of U.S. GAAP and GAAS.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Manage the engagement and workflow of all deliverables for multiple clients, including audits and related reports.
• Identify and resolve accounting and audit technical issues impacting engagements.
• Lead engagement planning, staffing, and scheduling.
• Review work papers and deliverables for firm standards.
• Delegate tasks to supervisors and participate in peer reviews.
• Continue developing accounting and audit technical expertise through training.
• Prepare memorandums for complex accounting issues and support solutions.
• Coordinate services across departments and keep partners informed of status and issues.
• Assist in developing fee quotes, budgets, and client billings.
• Develop as a trusted advisor by discussing client updates and potential solutions throughout the year.
