Job summary

Armanino is seeking a Senior Associate to supervise and plan engagements for audit, review or compilation and to lead a staff team under supervision of a Manager or Partner. You will review workpapers, analyze financial data, and communicate findings to clients to ensure timely completion of reports.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and at least 2 years of public accounting experience in audit or assurance, with strong knowledge of GAAP/GAAS and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of public accounting experience in audit or assurance.
• Experience supervising Audit staff professionals.
• Understanding of GAAP and GAAS.
• Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Engagement.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, plan, and perform audits, reviews, compilations, and various client engagements.
• Lead a team of up to five staff members under supervision of a Manager and/or Partner.
• Demonstrate understanding of workpaper preparation and analytical evaluation of financial data.
• Communicate with engagement team and clients to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Identify controls weaknesses in client accounting systems and document findings.
• Prepare clear and complete workpapers and update on job status to management.
