Job summary

Armanino LLP seeks an experienced Manager to oversee assurance engagements across multiple clients. You will manage engagement work streams, plan engagements, supervise staff, and ensure delivery of high-quality financial statements and management letters.

In this role you will act as a trusted advisor to clients, resolve complex accounting issues, and contribute to practice development. Strong knowledge of GAAP/GAAS and proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA license required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a public accounting firm.
• Assurance leadership, guidance or supervisory experience is required.
• Advanced understanding of GAAP and GAAS.
• Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Manage the engagement and workflow of all deliverables for multiple clients, including audited financial statements, and related letters.
• Identify and resolve accounting and audit technical issues affecting the engagement.
• Lead the engagement planning process in terms of timing, resources, and risk assessment.
• Determine and approve staffing and other resource needs and engagement schedules.
• Review engagement work papers and deliverables to ensure standards are met.
• Delegate assignments to supervisors considering skills and development needs.
• Participate in the peer review process.
• Develop technical expertise in accounting and audit methods through CPD.
• Prepare memorandums to support solutions on complex issues.
• Coordinate services with other departments related to the engagement(s).
• Keep the partner informed about client updates and budget status.
