Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or related field.
• Eight to ten years of audit experience.
• Advanced knowledge in audit and banking/financial services.
• Substantial leadership experience and decision-making skills.
• Excellent risk management and process concepts.
• Excellent written, verbal and negotiating skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA or CPA.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage a team of audit professionals and allocate resources to meet performance targets.
• Lead engagements and planning for large, complex audits with risk-based scope.
• Set quality expectations per Truist Audit Services standards and review processes.
• Develop audit reports aligned with the risk framework and present to stakeholders.
• Advise on complex assignments with subject-matter expertise.
• Mentor junior staff and foster team development.
• Maintain relationships with lines of business and ensure proper audit coverage.
• Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of audits and projects.
