Crosby & Kaneda, CPAs LLP in Alameda, CA seeks a Senior Audit Manager for nonprofit engagements. The role is hybrid/in-person with regular office presence and remote options after a transition period.

You will own nonprofit audits from planning to reporting, supervise staff, and serve as the primary client contact, coordinating with directors on risk assessment and wrap-up activities. The position requires a CPA license, nonprofit audit experience, and strong communication skills.

Formación

• CPA license required; Attest authority preferred.
• Proven ability to run a full audit engagement team independently (2+ years).
• Nonprofit audit experience and nonprofit accounting knowledge required.
• Experience with CCH Axcess Engagement preferred.
• Professional and personable; able to build and manage client relationships independently.
• Eligible to work within the US for any employer (we are currently unable to sponsor).
• Background check required.
• Able to commute to Alameda office at least 3 days per week.
• Available Monday to Friday 8:30 AM–5:00 PM PT.

• Research accounting and tax treatment or areas you are unclear about, or ask for assistance when needed

About Us

We are a CPA firm located in Alameda, CA focused on supporting the many wonderful nonprofits in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond with audit, review and tax services. The firms directors formerly worked in the nonprofit field directly. We are a smaller firm, with a collaborative environement and reasonable working hours.

• Offers are contingent on a satisfactory background check
• Able to commute to our office in Alameda at least 3 days per week
• Available Monday to Friday - generally 8:30AM Pacific time to 5:00PM Pacific Time

Compensation

• DOE – Depends on Experience (Range starting at $120,000 base)
