Job summary

SolomonEdwardsGroup, LLC is seeking a CPA‑certified Audit Manager to lead nonprofit audit engagements, provide compliance and advisory services, and mentor staff. This fully remote role follows Eastern Time Zone business hours and aims to minimize overtime while delivering client impact.

Responsibilities include supervising engagements, ensuring GAAP compliance, and guiding internal controls and grant compliance efforts for nonprofit organizations.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 5+ years of audit experience (public accounting is required).
• Experience auditing nonprofit organizations.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit financial reporting.
• Experience leading engagements and supervising staff.

Position Overview

We are seeking a CPA‑certified Audit Manager to lead client engagements focused on nonprofit audit, compliance, and advisory services. This fully remote position operates on Eastern Time Zone business hours and offers meaningful client impact without the excessive overtime typical of public accounting.

The Audit Manager will oversee client engagements, supervise staff, and serve as a strategic advisor to nonprofit leadership teams.

• Manage multiple nonprofit client engagements from planning through completion
