You will cultivate strong client relationships, apply GAAP and auditing standards, and shape audit strategy with partners and directors. The role emphasizes mentorship, quality control, business development, travel as needed, and CPA eligibility with 8+ years of audit experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• CPA license required; IT audit certifications considered.
• 8+ years of relevant audit experience.
• 5+ years in a CPA firm with progressive leadership.
• Minimum CPE credits completed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit engagements across multiple clients.
• Maintain engagement timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain client relationships as trusted advisor.
• Collaborate on audit strategy aligned with client objectives and risks.
• Oversee audit execution and review complex accounting matters.
• Mentor and develop junior staff; foster continuous learning.
• Ensure audit documentation and reports meet firm standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Identify opportunities for business development and expanding services.
• Assess and mitigate risks within engagements.
• Stay current with accounting standards and regulatory changes.
