Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Audit Manager in Harrisburg, PA to lead audit engagements, assess risk, and strengthen internal controls within a dynamic accounting and finance team. You will guide engagements from planning through reporting, ensuring GAAS compliance and robust process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years in public accounting with a focus on audits.
• CPA or CIA certification preferred; strong leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the planning and execution of audit engagements to ensure they are conducted in accordance with GAAS, company standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform risk assessments on key business activities and use this information to develop an annual audit plan.
• Review financial statements, records, reports, operations and documentation to ascertain the extent of compliance with established controls, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide assurance on the effectiveness of the company's internal controls and risk management procedures.
• Prepare and present audit findings to senior management, including recommendations for corrective actions or improvements.
• Develop, build and implement tools to analyze data to improve audit efficiency and effectiveness, ultimately, increasing value to our internal customers.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and procedures.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in financial regulations and legislations that may affect the company's operations.
