MBE CPAs in Wisconsin-based offices is seeking an In-Charge Audit professional to lead engagements and guide junior staff. You will analyze financial records, plan procedures, and own engagements while nurturing client relationships.

The role requires 3+ years of public accounting audit experience; CPA is highly desired or attainable. Onsite preferred; hybrid/remote arrangements considered for experienced talent.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of audit experience at a public accounting firm.
• Experience supervising, reviewing, or guiding staff during audits.
• CPA certification highly desired or ability to attain.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform audit engagements while guiding junior team members.
• Analyze client financial records to identify issues and propose solutions.
• Plan and perform audit procedures in accordance with standards.
• Take ownership of assign-ed audit engagements and coordinate workflow.
• Review work prepared by staff and provide constructive feedback and guidance.
• Strengthen client relationships and understand clients' businesses.
• Communicate with clients to request information and discuss findings.
• Collaborate with Audit Managers and Partners to complete client engagements.
