Job summary

MBE CPAs is seeking an In-Charge Audit professional in Wisconsin to lead audit engagements and mentor junior staff. You will analyze financial records, plan procedures, and ensure timely completion while coordinating with Managers and Partners.

The role emphasizes building client relationships, addressing accounting issues, and guiding the audit team throughout engagements. Onsite work is preferred, with hybrid/remote options possible for experienced talent.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of audit experience at a public accounting firm.
• Experience supervising staff during audit engagements.
• CPA certification highly desired or ability to attain.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements and take ownership of planning and fieldwork.
• Coordinate workflow and ensure timely, accurate project delivery.
• Supervise, train, and mentor staff accountants and associates.
• Review work and provide constructive feedback to the team.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and address questions.
• Collaborate with Audit Managers and Partners to complete engagements.
