Job summary

MBE CPAs is seeking an In-Charge Audit professional to lead engagements, uphold client relationships, and mentor junior staff. You will analyze records, plan procedures, coordinate workflows, and ensure accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires 3+ years of public accounting audit experience, supervision capability, and a Bachelor's in Accounting. CPA certification is highly desired or obtainable. Onsite preferred, with hybrid/remote options for experienced candidates.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of audit experience at a public accounting firm.
• Experience supervising, reviewing, or guiding staff during audit engagements.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• CPA certification highly desired or ability to attain.
• Candidates encouraged to work onsite; hybrid/remote considered for experienced talent.

Responsibilities

• Perform and lead audit engagements while supporting client relationships.
• Plan and execute audit procedures in accordance with standards.
• Own assigned audits; coordinate workflow and ensure timely, accurate work.
• Supervise, train, and mentor staff accountants and associates.
• Review work prepared by staff and provide constructive feedback.
