Job summary

NorthPoint Search Group in Denver seeks a Senior Audit Associate with at least 3 years in public accounting to lead audit engagements, develop programs, perform technical research, mentor staff, and deliver high-quality services to international inbound clients.

This full-time role involves preparing workpapers, guiding junior staff, supporting business development, and collaborating with partners and senior managers on proposals.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting or Master’s in Accounting/Taxation.
• CPA license or similar certification preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing and distribution industries.
• German language skills a plus.
• Experience with ProSystem fx Engagement or CCH Axcess.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise audit engagements with a focus on manufacturing and distribution.
• Develop and execute audit programs, including risk assessment, control evaluation, and test design.
• Conduct technical accounting research on various topics.
• Deliver timely, accurate workpapers and communications.
• Mentor staff through training and coaching.
• Collaborate with partners/senior managers on proposals and business development.
