Job summary

Elliott Davis is seeking an Audit Senior to participate in the audit process from planning to completion for clients as part of the annual audit plan. You will supervise, motivate, develop, and review the audit staff team while ensuring quality and timeliness.

Responsibilities include planning audits, evaluating internal controls, preparing financial statements, and mentoring staff to deliver exceptional service. CPA progress is preferred and strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• CPA certification or significant progress toward certification.
• Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements and audited reports.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and perform financial statement audits for clients.
• Build trust-based relationships by understanding clients’ business.
• Evaluate internal controls and recommend improvements to processes.
• Prepare financial statements, audit reports, budgets and cash flow analyses.
• Resolve open items on assigned engagements and ensure timely completion.
• Monitor engagement economics by managing budgets and seeking efficiencies.
• Lead and mentor audit staff throughout engagements and delegate tasks.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback to staff and develop talent.
• Collaborate to identify cross-sell opportunities among existing clients.
• Participate in firm committees and professional development initiatives.
