Job summary

Elliott Davis is seeking an Audit Senior to participate in the audit process from planning to completion for clients under the firm’s annual audit plan. You will plan the audit, research, review processes, and provide recommendations to improve controls and procedures, while supervising staff.

Responsibilities include planning and performing financial statement audits, building client relationships, evaluating internal controls, preparing audit reports, budgeting, and mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• 2+ years of public accounting experience.
• CPA certification or active progress toward certification.
• Ability to prepare and review financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and perform financial statement audits for clients.
• Build trust-based relationships with clients by developing knowledge of their business.
• Evaluate internal control systems and recommend improvements to processes and controls.
• Prepare financial statements, audit reports, budgets and cash flow analyses.
• Monitor engagement budgets and drive efficiencies.
• Mentor and develop audit staff throughout engagements.
