Job summary

Elliott Davis Advisory, LLC in Charlotte, NC seeks an Audit Senior to participate in the audit process from planning to completion for clients as part of the annual audit plan. You will plan, supervise, and perform financial statement audits, build knowledge of clients' business, and evaluate internal controls.

You will mentor staff, provide feedback, manage engagement economics, and collaborate with teams to identify opportunities among existing clients while delivering compliant, high-quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• 2+ years of public accounting experience.
• CPA certification or significant progress toward certification.
• Ability to prepare and/or review a complete set of financial statements.
• Strong oral and written communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and perform financial statement audits for clients.
• Build trust-based relationships with clients by understanding their business.
• Evaluate internal control systems and develop recommendations to improve processes and procedures.
• Prepare financial statements, audit reports, budgets and cash flow analyses.
• Resolve open items encountered on engagements.
• Monitor engagement economics by managing budgets and efficiency.
• Teach, develop, and oversee staff throughout engagements and delegate tasks.
• Provide constructive feedback to staff and collaborate to identify opportunities among clients.
