Job summary

Elliott Davis is seeking an Audit Associate to assist in the audit process from planning through execution for clients in our annual audit plan. You will plan audits, research issues, review processes, and provide recommendations to improve policies and procedures.

The team emphasizes collaboration, confidentiality, and timely communication, with opportunities for mentoring and involvement in recruiting and training of new staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with GPA 3.25+ (required).
• 0-2 years accounting experience (audit preferred).
• CPA certification or progress toward certification.

Responsibilities

• Identify issues and apply accounting/auditing procedures.
• Prepare clear work papers with conclusions and recommendations for client correspondence.
• Develop relationships with clients and understand their business needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate exemplary work habits on client engagements.
• Collaborate to identify and sell opportunities among existing clients.
• Participate in recruiting, training, and mentoring of staff and interns.
