Jobot is seeking a leader to take charge of governmental audit engagements with hybrid flexibility and strong mentorship for career growth.

You will oversee audits for municipalities, school districts, housing authorities, and related public authorities, ensuring GAAS, GASB, Yellow Book, and Single Audit compliance while managing client relationships and engagement results.

Qualifications

• GAAS, GASB, Yellow Book, and Single Audit standards knowledge preferred.
• Experience leading or supervising governmental audit engagements.
• Strong client relationship management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as in-charge on audit engagements for governmental entities.
• Plan, supervise, and oversee audits for municipalities, school districts, housing authorities, and other public authorities.
• Ensure compliance with GAAS, GASB, Yellow Book, and Single Audit standards; review workpapers, financial statements, and reports.
• Act as primary client contact and manage ongoing client relationships and expectations.
• Manage engagement budgets, timelines, staffing, and deliverables; supervise and mentor staff.

• Act as the primary client contact and manage ongoing client relationships
• Manage engagement budgets, timelines, staffing, and deliverables
• Supervise, mentor, and develop audit staff and senior associates
• Provide performance feedback, coaching, and technical guidance
• Communicate audit findings, recommendations, and best practices to clients and leadership
• Stay current on governmental accounting regulations and auditing standards
• Support efficient execution and completion of multiple audit engagements simultaneously
