Job Details

• Serve as in-charge on audit engagements for governmental entities
• Plan, supervise, and oversee audits for municipalities, school districts, housing authorities, municipal utilities, and other public authorities
• Ensure compliance with GAAS, GASB, Yellow Book, and Single Audit standards
• Review audit workpapers, financial statements, and audit reports for quality and accuracy
• Act as the primary client contact and manage ongoing client relationships
• Manage engagement budgets, timelines, staffing, and deliverables
• Supervise, mentor, and develop audit staff and senior associates
• Provide performance feedback, coaching, and technical guidance
• Communicate audit findings, recommendations, and best practices to clients and leadership
• Stay current on governmental accounting regulations and auditing standards
• Support efficient execution and completion of multiple audit engagements simultaneously
