Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Audit Supervisor in Kirkwood, NJ to lead and execute public sector audits for municipalities, school districts, and government entities. The role includes supervising staff, ensuring GAAS, GASB, and Yellow Book compliance, and maintaining strong client relationships.

You will oversee budgets and timelines, mentor junior staff, and contribute to business development initiatives. The position offers an on-site, permanent role with a hybrid-friendly schedule and opportunities

• Assist in planning, supervising, and executing audit engagements for public sector clients.
• Lead audits for municipalities, school districts, public authorities, and other governmental organizations.
• Review audit workpapers, financial statements, and audit reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Serve as a day-to-day client contact and foster strong client relationships.
• Monitor engagement budgets, timelines, staffing, and project deliverables.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop Audit Associates and Senior Associates.
• Provide performance feedback, training, and technical guidance to team members.
• Identify audit findings and communicate recommendations to clients and firm leadership.
