Rea & Associates, a growing Top 100 business advisory & accounting firm in Ohio, seeks a Senior Audit Associate to assist with financial statement preparation and GAAP disclosures, focusing on assurance. This role leverages your educational background and strong communication to support engagements.

You'll work within our GAAP/GAAS framework, document work papers, and contribute to internal controls and audit tests while collaborating with a skilled team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or other relevant field required.
• Masters in Accountancy or other relevant field preferred.
• Two (2) or more years of relevant experience required.
• CPA preferred.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of financial statements with disclosures.
• Apply GAAP knowledge and document understanding in engagements.
• Research accounting topics and form initial opinions independently.
• Support engagement teams and document work papers.
• Identify and communicate deviations and necessary approvals to senior team members.
