Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• CPA license or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam.
• 3-5+ years of public accounting experience focused on audit/assurance.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and internal controls.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and audit/accounting software (CaseWare, ProSystem fx Engagement).
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead audits, reviews, and compilations from planning through completion.
• Prepare and review workpapers and financial statements per GAAP and applicable standards.
• Mentor junior staff and manage multiple client engagements.
• Conduct internal control and risk assessments to identify process improvements.
• Communicate with clients about engagement progress, findings, and recommendations.
• Research and resolve complex accounting and auditing issues.
• Ensure engagements comply with professional and firm standards and deadlines.
