Qualifications

• BS/MS in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Acoustics, DSP, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience developing engineering software, technical computing applications, embedded systems, or audio/DSP solutions.
• Strong Python and C/C++ programming; Matlab knowledge desirable.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop software platforms for audio measurement, signal analysis, algorithm development, rapid prototyping, and system characterization.
• Lead the design of frameworks connecting desktop environments with DSPs, embedded processors, audio SoCs, and measurement systems.
• Drive evolution of engineering tools, APIs, automation workflows, and visualization environments across product teams.
• Enable efficient interaction with embedded systems through hardware-control and interfaces.
• Provide technical leadership in software architecture, development practices, testing, deployment, and maintainability.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to a strong engineering-tools ecosystem at Bose.
