Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Acoustical Engineering, Audio Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Ten or more years of relevant professional experience in audio system development or acoustical engineering.
• Strong foundation in DSP, acoustics, psychoacoustics, and transducer fundamentals.
• Experience defining audio-system architectures balancing acoustics, signal processing, and hardware constraints.
• Hands-on experience designing, integrating, measuring, tuning, and troubleshooting high-performance audio systems.

Responsibilities

• Translate insights into experience concepts, requirements, experiments, and evaluation plans.
• Define reusable audio-system architectures across products and partner applications.
• Design, tune, and evaluate prototypes across consumer form factors.
• Develop and evaluate signal-processing approaches to improve audio performance.
• Conduct acoustic and electroacoustic measurements, guiding improvements with perceptual evaluation.
• Collaborate with DSP, controls, acoustics, electrical, mechanical, and software teams to optimize system performance.
