Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 12+ years of DSP and embedded software experience, including leadership of complex audio or signal processing systems.
• Deep expertise in digital signal processing and demonstrated production deployment of algorithms.
• Expert-level C/C++ skills and MATLAB/Simulink for analysis, modeling, and validation.
• Experience with fixed-/floating-point DSP, including numerical analysis and performance trade-offs.
• Strong real-time software development on embedded DSPs or processors (Cadence HiFi, ARM, Hexagon).
• Architectural judgment in modular, reusable DSP libraries across products/targets.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex algorithm/memory/timing issues via profiling and debugging.
• Willingness to work onsite in Framingham, MA and collaborate across locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead DSP architecture and execution across product platforms, define component boundaries and interfaces.
• Translate MATLAB/Simulink models into production-quality C/C++ implementations; code, optimize, and debug.
• Create reusable DSP components and configurable reference chains for consistency.
• Guide fixed-/floating-point design with proper precision, scaling, and saturation.
• Lead profiling/optimization for compute, memory, latency, and power on DSP targets.
• Hands-on hardware bring-up, lab debugging, and performance characterization.
• Define validation strategies with test vectors, regression tests, and measurements.
• Set engineering standards, review processes, and mentor distributed teams.
• Partner with research/product teams to align requirements and delivery priorities.
