Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active admission to the New York State Bar and in good standing.
• Must have NY Bar admission prior to 2021.
• Substantial legal experience; seasoned attorneys encouraged.
• Strong communication, client-service, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide practical legal guidance over the phone.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming member calls and provide legal information by telephone.
• Assess and analyze members' legal questions and determine next steps.
• Ask clarifying questions and synthesize information to understand issues.
• Provide practical legal guidance based on applicable law and precedent.
• Document calls and guidance in case-management software.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure appropriate assistance.
• Maintain confidentiality of all member and organizational matters.
