Responsibilities

• Represent policyholders in first-party property insurance matters, including coverage disputes, denials, and bad faith claims
• Review policies, claim documentation, and related materials to assess coverage and build a strong case
• Conduct legal research to develop strategies and stay current with insurance law, regulations, and precedents
• Manage a diverse caseload of first-party property insurance cases, drafting pleadings, motions, and other documents
• Negotiate with carriers and opposing counsel to secure favorable settlements
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials
• Provide clear legal advice on policy rights, obligations, and options to policyholders
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure seamless case management
• Develop and execute marketing plans to build business in the Seattle area
