Job summary

Qualifications

• Active law license and bar membership in any U.S. state.
• Minimum 15 years of attorney experience suggested by posting.
• Experience with probate law is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support Probate Hearings Division and Indian Probate Judges in hearings.
• Apply rules of practice and manage case docketing and records.
• Conduct hearings under supervision and draft orders and memoranda.
• Assist modernization efforts including electronic filing and docket systems.
• Make determinations on evidence materiality and witness credibility as needed.
