Job summary

Defense Logistics Agency seeks an Attorney-Adviser (General) to provide legal counsel across Government Contracts, Labor & Employment, Procurement Fraud, Fiscal, Installation, Administrative, and Ethics. Responsibilities include researching and interpreting legal authorities, advising management, and reducing litigation risk.

As GS-11/12, duties may be developmental; at higher grades, more advanced experience is required. The agency represents before GAO, MSPB, ASBCA, and EEOC, and assists U.S.

Qualifications

• Must have JD or LLB and be licensed and in good standing with the bar of a U.S. state or DC.
• Grade level qualifications include GS-11/12 criteria with relevant legal experience or advanced degrees.
• Must possess a certificate of good standing prior to appointment and be eligible for security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide written and verbal legal advice across Government Contracts, Labor & Employment, Procurement Fraud, Fiscal, Installation, Administrative and Ethics.
• Represent the Agency before GAO, MSPB, Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals, and EEOC.
• Assist U.S. Attorneys and DoJ in Federal court cases.
